The weight of the tool does all the work
I wish I had got one years ago! No strain on the back, unlike a fork or spade, the weight of the tool does all the work, then just use the long handle to lever out even the worst, like bramble and nettles etc.

No garden should be without this !
What an incredible tool this is for the fastest and most effective means of cultivation in the garden or indeed on any landscaping project. The shaft , although good quality , does tend to allow the hoe to rotate/slip slightly but steeping it in water or driving wedges into the end will cure this. Wouldn’t be without it now !
