Hit and miss
I mixed this as per the instructions with a medium grey colour. I did 2 walls on my hall stairs and landing hoping for a nice sparkly feature wall. The first coat went on well altho there is a knack to getting it even. Needed a second coat so started to do this and omg. It seems to react with the paint somehow. It's strange how the texture changes upon application of a second coat. It became thick and glue like leaving a horrible texture all over the wall. The finish was so bad I stopped and didn't do the second wall. Went and bought new paint in case it was a bad batch?? Bought a new expensive roller and next day tried again. Omg it was awful. I've never seen paint go on like it. It's patchy and rippled almost and very uneven. I have even washed the wall down with hot water but still the same. I've never known anything like it before and I've painted a lot of walls. I can only blame the glitter. I think it reacts or something with the paint?? Wierd but so infuriating as I've got one wall that looks awful and one wall that still needs a second coat but I'm scared to touch it. I would say if u can get away with one coat it looks nice. If u add it to a darker or lighter colour than your base God help u. My one wall needs skimming now. Shall probably paper over it 😣Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is my second purchase. I mixed the silver glitter with White bathroom paint and it looks stunning. The glitter has brightened up what used to be a small boring bathroom. Really pleased with the results! Definitely recommend this product!

Love it.
Initially I was disappointed as i couldn't see the glitter, to be fair tho i did use white paint, but when i put the light on in the evening WOW amazing sparkles. I used practically the whole bag in 1 litre of paint. So today I used the little bit i had left & mixed it with grey paint & did a wooden mirror surround & a couple of wooden ornaments, the results are stunning. Good quality glitter
I was slightly disappointed when I painted my walls and there was no sparkle at all. However, dont be put off by this! V1rtus glitter
I used 1 and a half packs of glitter in 2.5ml of emulsion paint for a feature wall. Mix it well into the paint and roll onto wall, goes on really well and you can see the glitter shimmer straight away, use different lighting to see it at first. It was the evening when I switched my lights on when I saw the full effect absolutely gorgeous definitely would recommend this it’s so easy to use and not a lot of mess to clean up, You can’t see the glitter as much during the day as I was going for a subtle look, but even for subtle it’s just really nice, glitter doesn’t flake off if you rub your hand over the dried wall. Used it in grey paint for a feature wall and it looks gorgeous! Not much of a sparkly, girly girl so I wanted something pretty but subtle. Used a packet in a 2.5l tub of paint and it added just the right amount of shimmer. Wouldnt recommend
I bought this glitter for my little bathroom and had high expectations. Used with light grey paint mixed properly as the directions instructed on the back of glitter and it didnt even turn out half as good as i thought it would. Very very disappointed, if you want glitter walls either buy about 3 packets of this glitter for a little room or just go buy the glitter wallpaper which is now regretfully what i should have done.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
