Always exactly on time and easy to read.
I was interested in having a clock that would always be on time, was easy to read from a little distance, and would not require seasonal resetting. This clock fills the bill. Because the clock receives the low-frequency signal from WWVB in Fort Collins, CO, overnight, it is always on time within a fraction of a second and includes an automatic adjustment for DST. I had to experiment a bit with location before it received the signal. There is an indicator on the clock that shows the strength of signal reception! The clock projects a good-sized, red, LED image of the time onto the ceiling which is crisp and clear, but not too bright. This is handy under low-light conditions when the liquid crystal display is impossible to read and you are too far away to hit the backlight button. The included AC power adapter allows this projection to stay on continuously if desired. The batteries function as power-loss sentinels. Don't rush the clock. It must stand overnight to receive the time-calibration signal from WWVB. Evidently, it attempts to receive at hourly intervals beginning at 1:00 am, when there is darkness between Fort Collins and most other people. Additionally, it takes a few minutes for the calibration signal to be received. Look at the indicator in the morning to see if calibration was successful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lacking Ability to Aim Projected Time
My previous brand of projection clock only lasted one year when the digits became unreadable. My friend said theirs was about eight years old and still projecting well, so I searched for one like it and found it on eBay. I am disappointed that there is no ability to control where the time projects. You have to move the clock itself, rather than being able to aim the light. There is no way I can get it to project where I want it. I also wish the digits were larger. I will make due, and if it lasts 8 years, I will consider it an adequate investment l.
