Very sturdy! Used it for the first time in Suffolk last weekend in gale force winds and it was rock solid! It’s a lot heavier than the one it’s replacing which was bigger (2m x 2m) but is much easier to put up and feels much more stable because of the steel poles which go INSIDE the tent.
The ground sheet does not quite reach the edges of the tent and the tent skirt flaps blow up in the wind so we will adapt our old groundsheet which is like a bucket in that it goes up inside the tent around the edges to keep the rain out.
We use it as a toilet tent/washroom and for storing the table, chairs, spare gas bottles, walking boots etc etc when we’re camping with our little campervan. Plenty of room.
Very happy and would recommend this tent.
This item is so good I ordered another to use as a smoking shelter in the back garden. It’s almost like a small cheap conservatory!! Great quality ite
This item is so good I ordered another to use as a smoking shelter in the back garden. It’s almost like a small cheap conservatory!! Great quality item. Stands up to weather well so far. Plenty of room for my craft supplies and room to work in, keeping the house clean and tidy. Definitely would recommend.
For about £100 I was expecting something fairly basic,, but this little beauty was a revelation.
So easy to erect, don't even need the instructions, it's that easy.
The best part is that when the lodge is thrown over the frame and pegged down, the two major parts fit together beautifully, no slack bits or bits that are a bit too short....We debuted our lodge on Anglesey for a week and it withstood everything North Wales threw at it with ease....
Very impressed, highly recommended piece of equipment, and worth every penny.
