It's for more than just food prep!
My husband has a hand that doesn't work as well as it did and finds this an excellent solution to cutting meat and other dinner items one handed. I've found the ulu knife we bought first also works wonderfully well for the intended food prep for which these rocking blade knives are intended. But this mezzaluna with the cushioned grip is truly a "cut above" the rest. So I bought more as gifts for family members who also have hand issues. They're thrilled!
