Solid build, excellent desk studio monitor stands
I was looking for nice desk studio monitor stands as I am tired of having my monitors purely on the table below my ear level. I did a lot of research and just found either too expensive stands or expensive ones because they offered more options as just being stands, which is unnecessary for me. After a while I found the Gorilla GSM-50 stands on eBay, even 10 to 20% reduced from it's original price. They looked good to me and I ordered them immediate. Delivery went very quick and the setup of these two stands took less the 5 minutes. My monitors are finally on a perfect level and the stands are solid build and holding the monitors perfectly. It seems to me as well that the stands are tilted on the top so they look a bit down to you and the monitors won't face just straight in your direction rather a bit more at your direction. Cheap and cheerful.
Basic no thrills stands. No instructions but easy to put together. Big bases are slippy on a polished surface so might want to add rubber feet. Comes with rubber isolation strips for monitors. Very good value for me under £20. Pretty heavy, all metal construction. Great stands, but struggle with weight

These are good quality speaker stands that require only a little assembly, they are neat enough to use domestically as well as in a studio. Very happy indeed for the price, got them for some 8” woofer monitors.. mine are actives and pretty weighty so although fully tightened they do sway a little if touched.. do the job fine though. Solid and very useful
I wanted these to raise some speakers about 30cm high. When I first set these up I was ready to return them from how flimsy they were. The connections between the parts just wasn't strong. However, once I tightened these again they were as solid as you'd like. They do a great job as well. The padding provided is great as well. Great monitor stands
These are made of quality pressed metal with a durable black finish. They come with high density stick-on strips to support the monitors and smaller squares of foam to act as as feet. The main pillar is height adjustable with a pin to hold the desired height. You can, as I did, remove the pin all together and use the stands somewhat lower than the pre-drilled height adjustment holes, to get them as low as 8.5 cm. They are very sturdy and hold my heavy, quite deep speaker housings perfectly. I procrastinated about this purchase, thinking I didn't really need it. However, once I got them the sound was *so* noticeably better, and the desk doesn't absorb the sound anymore. They are perfect for even the most professional studios or any decent monitor setup. good item
this item is rather good indeed gives you more space on the desk you can change the hight for all you tall ass people haha :) but also helps with the sound all i would say is that you need a bit of foam under the bottom bit just incase any noise goes through to the desk i say it looks better to be honest but of course its not about the look its about the sound quality :) for me its abit of both tho ha so im happy :) the only thing id say about them is pretty much same as the floor stands is they wobble abit which makes them look unstable which i think they are no you have heavy bit of item on a stand course its gonna wobble :) so i do recommend this item of course
