If you're looking for a cheap, good value smartphone, then most will tend to stick with Android, but have you considered Windows Phone? Microsoft might have almost given up on the platform now, but that doesn't mean it's still not a good option. This Lumia 535, thanks to the free update from Microsoft, now runs Windows Phone 10, and offers a vastly improved experience, and includes the new, faster edge browser. The phone has dual 5MP cameras, so better than most for selfies if that's your thing, and with the right apps makes a brilliant mobile office, business tool. The battery is pretty good, given the screen size, and lasts well, although depends on sync durations, usage, brightness etc, and to help out, there's a battery saver mode. Like most now, it's powered by a Quad Core SOC CPU, and has 1gb RAM, might not be enough under Android, but works well with Windows. It can't be considered a recent model by any means, but it's specification means that it's still a very usable phone, and one which can easily be customised, and keep you entertained with the right apps. I've always been impressed by the amount of things Microsoft pack into their budget handsets. This phone has a perfectly sized screen. It's not too small that things are squashed and fits perfectly in my small hands! It comes with 8gb standard storage and has a microSD slot. It's worth buying a decent microSD card for heavier use. It's one of the phones upgradeable to windows 10 mobile and runs smoothly on the new version. It's worth it for the advantages the Edge browser brings. The sound quality is clear and not quiet. It has built in GPS and WIFi. I use that most of the time. Overall it's a good budget phone and I've gone ahead and bought another one.

I have been buying Microsoft Lumia phones from Amazon and they have been very nice, easy to open ones. But this one I bought from eBay is almost impossible to open the battery cover and the screen is very soft so that when I was fighting opening it the screen was broken. I cannot recommend anyone to buy these phones it seems they are the fake version. Amazon are the ones who sell the genuine Microsoft Lumia. Be careful people.
