Almost exact replacement
On the original the indicator stalk is, I think, bent slightly upwards toward the steering wheel whereas this Lucas equivalent isn't, so you have to stretch your fingers a little bit to reach it. I also think the original may have been a little bit longer but as I've disposed of the original I cannot check. I imagine the basic Lucas unit would have been OEM kit for a wide variety of vehicles with subtle variations to take account of steering wheel diameter and the length of the boss. The quality of this unit appears to be as good as the original which failed at 115k miles so I'm expecting a similar life for this one. For me, the slight differences would not be worth the extra cost of the Genuine Land Rover part, but a perfectionist might think differently.
