Good drone for a beginner
This is my first drone and radio controlled device.. It is an economical unit, under fifty bucks. It seems fairly rugged for a learner who has crashed many times so far without any damage. Decent drone for the money.
You get what you pay for. It is a fair and play-with-able device but it is cheaply made. Lift off is never straight up, it always drifts even after adjusting the various settings that are supposed to compensate for this. The camera works fairly well but shakes, as you would imagine, without having a gimbal. This is a decent very beginners play thing. It is fairly durable, somewhat responsive and does what it should do. Beyond that it is up to each person and their desired experience.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wow!
Received a lot more than expected! I wasn't expecting much from this drone because of the price, but what I got was worth every penny. Definitely a good drone for beginners (such as myself). Extremely durable, I discovered this after bumping into a "few" things. Decent run time (about 10-15 minutes, depending how much you use the camera and flight conditions). When the battery dies, simply switch it out for a charged one (two batteries included). Also, I'm sure you can purchase a higher capacity battery from somewhere or if nothing else, buy additional batteries and charge them up for standby use. All in all I have to say that if you purchase this drone, you will not regret it. UDI U818A drone flying fool
The UDI U818A is a great drone for the money. This is the second one I bought as I flew the other out of range and into woods. It was never found. Both of these were abused by diving them into the ground, into trees, and into the side of the house several times. The last time I hung it in the top of a 70 foot oak tree where it stayed for about two weeks. It was finally dislodged by the second driving rainstorm and 50 MPH winds. After drying it out with a hair dryer it works just fine. I cut the outer protective rings off and it flys much better and faster and is not so prone to get stuck in trees. I am learning how to fly and this is a good one for that. This drone is great fun and I recommend it. Just don't fly it in much of a wind and know your limitations. I almost forgot....I took pictures and videos with it and they came out very good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for kids!
Purchased this drone for my 9yr old as a starter drone. It is absolutely awesome. Handles great, super light and durable. 7-8 min flight time and he loves to take videos and pics with it. Very cheaply made, however you get what you pay for and can't complain in the $50 range.
We originally purchased the Pro for the same price, however it was no longer available. For the price, you get what you pay for. The plastic is very thin, Battery lasts about 4 minutes if your lucky. However, for a kid starter it's a good option for something they will likely break / lose in a tree. Inexpensive and ton of fun.
