  • Rear sliding door wiring loom

Order came really fast in large box and was as discribed. The problem is fitting the bloody thing. Ford had designed this not to be an easy fit !! You have to remove all the seats baring the driver's one and the surrounding trim and door piller cover and seat belt mount. Undo the bottom door mounting and remove, pull down the plastic lower sill cover below the door and remove the door catch.Lift the carpit and disconnect the connector to the inside floor mount of the loom, undo the nuts and push out the plastic black loom case from the recess. The unit clips in and out so you will need to be careful in doing this. These units are easliy damaged which leeds to the door locking up and the window not working. This really is one of those jobs where you have to rip half the car apart just to do a fairly simple thing.....
