I enjoyed reading this book but only because the story & emotions were true, had it been a work of fiction I would have not finished it. I think I would have dis liked Cheryl if I had met her at this time, but I admire her honesty in the telling of the story. It was hard to relate to her, but maybe that's a good thing when reading - to be challenged. Though perhaps if I had met her she would not have told me her about her drug habit, her tattoo and by far the worst of all, her choosing of her surname post divorce as that on its own was enough to make me metaphorically vomit. Her relationship with her Mother seemed very unhealthy to me, even obsessive. Again I admire honesty though. On reflection a well written book but with a predictable narrative arc.

I lived the adventure with her on every page. Sometimes it's sad but mostly uplifting as she faces each challenge.
