Great for lockdown
Was not sure at first, it seemed a bit light weight. I like depth and beautifully formed sentences. However Jeanette Winterson was quoted on the back cover so I read on. Result I was captivated and cried laughed , even looked up the author. Interesting fella. A good read, enjoyable and memorable.
Read this for our book club. It's not something I would have chosen and early on I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it, but I was wrong. The story is definitely different but I was drawn into the characters and was able to believe in them, especially the main character Andrew.
