Michael Mosely is a star in his own right, so when I decided to reduce my weight, this diet was floated by a friend who had done similar, and so I launched upon it. The diet came first, the reading second, but I had already seen the documentary Michael did for BBC so knew the basics. Having this in written format was a good reminder and boost with facts and figures all pertaining to both the BBC documentary, but also from personal feedback and that from other readers. Week one I lost 9lbs, week two 2 lbs, I'm currently in week three. My first fast was a total fast, water only, with the subsequent fasts being the 600calories. It's going well, highly recommend this.
