The Cainsville books are a compelling series, I bought the first and before I was half way through was looking for the other four - and none of them disappointed. A woman finds out she is not the natural daughter of the wealthy people who raised her shortly before her wedding. Her natural parents are in fact serving sentences for serial murder. So her life is already turned upside down, and she is being hounded by the press and those affected by the murders. But they aren't the only ones interested in her; there is a lot more to her heritage than she could expect, or possibly even believe, and her move to a sleepy little town with no train or bus and ten miles from the freeway is not the escape she first thinks, nor are the 'people' she meets lacking in knowledge of who - and what - she is.Read full review

I read and enjoyed book 1, so bought the second book in the series and it strayed into the realm of ridicule - suffice to say I won't be buying any more of this series.
