  • Lent Course material

Wide range of discussion on possible background to varied happenings described in the Bible accounts about Holy Week, usefully split into five sections relating to the events of that week, describing and analysing interpretations that have been inspired by the writings, with open critique of factual likelihoods. The questions at the back of the book related to each section are helpful in encouraging open discussion towards deeper understandings of what took place, with special reference to implications for faith today. We are using the book as a basis for an open Lent Course 2017 for Churches Together in Rye & District. Revd. Dick Dengate
