Due to the fact it My Great Grandfather & his Brothers, Are mentioned, In particular the Racecourse wars. I was also in'touch With the Author Carl Chinn & Sent him photos for a new book .Peaky Blinders , the true story. Both Excellent books for those who loved the TV series.

Well written and beautifully illustrated with photographs, by the great social historian Carl Chinn. Having said that I bought it as a gift and read what I could without damaging the spine. Will try and borrow back because I certainly want to read it thoroughly.

Great easy to read book on the real Peaky Blinders & the Brummagem gangs, also gives info on the southern gangs like the Sabini’s, it’s the real dirty tale of the real gangs unlike the glamourised version on tv! The newest book ’Peaky Blinders, the real story’ by Carl Chinn is much more detailed and I would also 100% recommend that one too! All his books are so enthusiastically written, you can tell he is knowledgeable and passionate about his subject! A must have for peaky fans!
