Sulwhasoo Snowise EX Cleansing Foam
Brilliant foaming cleanser for sensitive skin, and which has definitely improved the texture of my ageing face! My skin has more bounce and fewer wrinkles and dry bits, so I count that a win. Despite the pretty pronounced hanbang herby scent of this product, my face tolerates it very well, with no reddening or tantrums, and it has kept my rosacea down to a dull roar. It is extremely gentle and non-stripping, unlike other foam cleansers I have tried. I would recommend using a foaming net with it, both to achieve a pleasing mountain of froth, and because it keeps costs down - you only need a tiny dab of product if you have a foaming net. Another thing to bear in mind is that this is an enormous tube, so, although the price tag is big for a Korean product, it is in fact very economical - I expect this tube to last me about a year, using once a day in the evening. I'm pleased that it comes in a tube rather than a pot, as I will be using this for such a long time - I worry about contamination when using a pot over a long period. If I am using makeup (rare) I use it as the second step in a two-step cleanse, using an oil-based cleanser as the first step, usually the matching cleansing oil as I so love the scent of the Snowise range. For travel you'd need to decant from the huge tube. Or buy the handy sample sachets also available from EBay sellers. This is, hands down, the very best cleanser I've ever used.
