So good I got it twice !
An informative read and very usefull for a beginner. My son bought me this book for Xmas as I had started playing the uke. My brother got a uke the following Aug on his birthday . As he lived up in Scotland I was reluctant to lend him the book as I might never see it again ! It also made a perfect birthday present .! !

As others have pointed out this is a really good introduction to the ukulele. I class myself as non-musical yet, thanks to the clear instructions provided, within an hour I was playing some simple tunes. The book is written in a fun, non-patronising way and contains an interesting history of the uke and information on celebrity players. Highly recommended.
