The battery was described as 'new'. I cannot be sure but I think that it is used as it loses it's charge much quicker than I had expected.

when the battery arrived I connected it into the phone and put it on charge for at least 12 hrs and then when it stated fully charged at 100% I disconnected it and after 2 hrs without use ,was down to 20% so fitted my original battery , but will have to go and have the phone checked before doing anything else
