Money well spent
My supercharged Eunos (MX5, Miata) had been fluffing at high speed when hot. I had tried to trace the "fault" without success- new plugs, timing & lots of other remedies. For the price of a new set of plugs the Tensioner gauge cured it. The belt (4rib) was evidently not quite tight enough when hot, so slipping at high revs. Used the guage, tightened the belt to the correct tension - problem solved!
