Cheap and to the point
If you want a no frills smart watch these are great. I had an original pebble but if suffered from a problem with the screen that they all got eventually. That issue was fixed for the pebble 2. The voice to text feature is surprisingly accurate and you can use it to send a text straight from the watch. On the original pebble you could use predefined messages to reply to a message but on the pebble 2 you can use predefined or voice to text to reply to text, whatsapp etc but you can also start a conversation straight from the watch, although starting a conversation can only be done using a normal text message. Pebble have stopped trading now but despite this somehow the pebble app for android has been updated. The new update had an issue and will not connect properly to the watch to set it up. You need to get version 4.3 to set it up and then you could upgrade to the latest version for day to day use of the watch but I would just stick with 4.3Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The future 'casio' watch.
This kind of gadget will not suit everyone, especially this one. As an owner of first gen pebble (classic) I found the experience very similar. Buttons are less prone to be pressed accidentally e.g. I'd have my wrist bend upwards which would trigger the quiet time. Water resistance is always a plus. Microphone is present but I never use it. The Last one made
Having used the Pebble Classic for the past 3 years, I've become a big Pebble fan. Feels so comfortable on the wrist and is great value for money. The new Pebble 2 is better for various reasons; 1. longer battery life, 2. Smaller screen with Glass rather than plastic face, 3. More dependable and quicker interface and 4. It's the last one.
