Gettysburg battle brought to life !
Have an original copy ( not extended directors cut ) which is excellent, but this blu ray directors cut copy is much better. It only has 17 minutes of extra viewing time, but these 17 minutes are crucial to the story of the battle. Very happy with this disc.

A brilliant re-telling of the pivotal battle of the American Civil War that changed the fortunes of the North and led to the eventual defeat of the South 2 years later..All the main protagenists are excellently portrayed and the battle scenes are brilliantly replicated.Altogether a cinematic masterpiece!
