I really like the light bars
The unit is very self explanatory for all the connections and was very easy to connect. Liked being able to put 8 components on one switch. I have tried all the light modes and the bar is my favorite. The response of the bar is quicker than most db meters. This acts more like a VU meter than an actual readout of how many decibels your system is creating. Closer calibration could correct this. The unit is doing its purpose which is to keep me below ear damaging levels. I also really liked the rack mount ears and how they can mount 3 directions! Plus the give you feet for the unit! Very poor quality
Had to remove rubber feet (no big deal) AND had to remove the 5 bottom screws holding the unit together in order to get it to fit in one standard rack space. I had to drill out the rack ears in order for it to fit standard rack screw spacing as well. Totally cheap and you instantly know it. Spend more and buy something higher quality. Truly disappointing. It is a power "distributor" with no protection or an on/off power switch. I didn't think it would matter. Turns out it does matter! Buy something else. great idea and concept
it is pretty nice to have the new decibel meter to calibrate all my output volumes. I have a hand held that does pretty good as well but it has to be held/placed in exactly the same position or you get different results. Since this plugs into my mixer, it is getting the line level output to read from. It also is nice not to have to use the big heavy isobar I have been using. I still have one power outlet left after everything else (including rack light) was plugged in! Great idea and I think everyone should have one!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tech Pro DB30 1U Rack Mount Display Unit
All features of ordered unit were accurate as described in the product specs. The unit appears to be well made and fits neatly in my personal rack mount. The mounting and wiring went very quickly and the LED level adjustment was an easy fix. One LED did burn out after about an hour of use but I will live through the slight aesthetic issue. One recommendation for future design change is to have the power switch turn off all of the A/C accessory outlets conveniently supplied in the back of the display for any extra devices of the owner's system. The item appears to be of good quality, the rack ears are a bit flimsy. Need to be clear on how it is to be connected meaning connecting it in the processor loop provides only something comparable to a Record Level and in my case I was fortunate to have a PreAmp out jack available for the front Speakers designed for additional Amplifier. This unit should be designed for connecting to the Amplifier output to the speakers thus providing a visual indication of the Amplifier's delivery so it can be determined if your entering the danger zone of your speakers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product
This is great and works very good, brand new out of the box it worked fine. The Audio RCA input has to be from the pre-amp, not amplified! Follow the set up guide and instructions. The levels are very accurate and also adjustable. Rack ears are provided.
