VERY GOOD
I have a DOD dash cam which I paid double this price for. The Nextbase is almost identical with a similar menu and controls but the menu is much more responsive. Very easy to set up, plugs into your cars 12v socket (cig. lighter). Needs a 32gb micro card but then once fitted to your windscreen you can forget it. Only had this unit about a week but so far it does what it says on the box. Good build quality, easy installation. One little moan and that is that there is no fully comprehensive instruction booklet, you have to go online. If it was in a tin it would do exactly what it said on it.
It's not better than I expected.It is exactly what I expected because it's the second dashcam that I've purchased and it's because the first one was so satisfactory that the second purchase was made for the second car. I would have bought a later model but the advantage of the 402G is that the camera can be mounted inverted and yet still provide a normally orientated picture.
