Hawke Vantage IR AO 2-7X32
This is a superb scope and ideal for my HW99S. I originally had a Hawke Vantage 3-9X50 AO on it but it felt a bit big on my rifle. The 2-7X32 has had no affect on my accuracy on my 25m range and for some weird reason the 7 power magnification seems to have calmed down the wobbles as subconsciously they must have affected my trigger finger. I have Hawke Vantage scopes on all of my air rifles and I think that they are great value for money. The optics are more than most would need for sensible air rifle distances ranges. I also found the illuminated reticle really helpful as it makes the cross hairs and mil dots really stand out on darker backgrounds, quarry or targets. This scope has green or red illustrations and I prefer the green on its lowest setting. I would definitely recommend Hawke Vantage scopes and I would have bought an Airmax if it weren’t for the illuminated reticle options. As a point of interest I also have a Hawke Fastmount 4-16X50 IR AO. I had it on my HW97K but it was just a bit too long and interfered with the loading port. Anyway, the cross hairs on it are thinner and in my opinion a bit better than on the Vantage (even though the Fastmount is cheaper) as it allowed for greater pellet position ad bigger scope magnifications. Buy a Hawke Vantage or Fastmount if you have budget constraints. They are well made scopes and great value for money.
