This is a great way to connect an outdoor feed to an internal cable. I had tried to connect the outside feed using standard coaxial connectors but due to the diameter of the cable of the incoming feed I couldn't make a satisfactory connection. However, using this connector, the connection is solid and provides a very stable signal. It was also much cheaper than I could find elsewhere.

Most of the coax sockets that you buy are total rubbish and simply fall apart when you try to install them. These ones are not and can actually be used. Don't be tempted by cheaper ones, get these.
