Seems a good value / quality dongle, but refuses to work with Sky Hub
It's a great little dongle for the price, the same one has been on sale in Wilko for a number of years at £10. It came in retail sealed pack, and contains the dongle, instructions, and a mini CD containing the driver and application. Most Windows OS will probably install a driver automatically without the need to use the CD at all, but if you do, just install the driver.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend, despite reading all the reviews which seemed to indicate this would work well, it doesn't want to connect with my Sky router at all. I've tried all kinds of workarounds, force changed the router channel etc, but still no luck. The driver installed OK, although it's still not correctly recognised, and it seems to function fine, but whether it's an old model or something, but it just refuses to connect once you've entered your key.
It maybe because I'm running Win7 Enterprise, or it just doesn't work with Sky routers, IPv6 problem, or maybe just faulty, I don't know, shame.
