The 14x8 Is All I Hoped it Would Be!
This is an excellent snare for the money. The alternating plies of Birch and African Mahogany are a perfect match. It is very sensitive and can deliver a walloping back beat, depending on head selection and how it is tuned. The craftsmanship and quality are excellent, for a mass produced snare, and I am very happy with this purchase. I have many snare drums, and I am not a big fan of Pearl, but this one has me very impressed! Truly an underrated modern snare, which makes it an excellent value, for those in the know.
