I have been using another brand which was better being slightly bigger and more robust. The other brand apears to have disappeared and these are a good substitute - only reason for a 4 star review is that I know what 5 star quality is, even if it's no longer available! They Work!
These are absolutely great fat absorbers, they work really well. my bacon etc. comes out dry of fat but still juicy inside. The main issue is cost because I am using one a day they will get used so quickly (one a day) that I will have to keep ordering more, which then makes them expensive. You get what you pay for. Yes, it does quite a good job, but it will not soak up ALL juices. However, I have bought it again, because the price is very good. If I could afford an expensive, better product, then I would, but this suits me for what I need. A great time and effort saver.
These save having to wash the grill pan after each use. I use them for grilling low fat burgers and low fat sausages ; any fat soaks through the foil and is collected by the thicker material layer and after use they can be lifted and thrown in the bin. My only complaint is that they could be a little bigger. I use one and a half to fit the depth of my grill pan and I don’t have a huge modern cooker...it is a sixteen year old average sized one.
