It's very hard to find a decent GREEN led head torch! I've had a few and this one being RE chargeable is the best I've tried! My other one which is also very good came from Maplin...but it kills batteries. But at night in a truck for example..the green is so much better for reading and clarity than a red light and does not blind you like white does. I'm very impressed with this head torch. Nice and compact.
I actually used this for the first time yesterday. I started a walk along a lane early am and it assisted by illuminating my way forward. The light was on full power for more than an hr and didn't take a third of the battery life. The sensor has it benefits, but don't bother with it if your playing about with stuff in a backpack.. Use it on normal function. It's nice that it comes with a compact container. The green light is good, well good enough for me to open and pour my flask.
