A good buy, good ice and good warranty.
Ive owned a few different versions of this machine, ranging from absolute rubbish to brilliant. This one tops the bill. Very good ice, reliable so far, two years warranty (had some last only 9 months) and good to look at. The big problem with these machines is that over time a considerable amount of slime mould grows inside them, especially where the hard plastic pipes meet soft rubber pipes. No amount of bleach or vinegar will touch it meaning the only way to clean is by stripping down the machine, removing the pipes and washing one by one. You will know when the build up has occured as the ice starts tasting real bad. We take ours on holiday with us in our caravan and in the south of france in summer it is invaluable. They make a noise but nothing to keep you awake. The clear lid is light and easy to open as opposed to some which have the buttons in the lid. Whatever you do, dont plump for the much cheaper versions as they are very poor. Externally they look very similar but that is where the similarity ends. They utilise relays which for the most part went out with the Ark, and have a relatively short lifespan. The trigger to make ice or stop making ice is via an IR sensor, again far superior to some other makes which use a thermocouple.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ice making machien
What a brilliant gadget. No more having to wait overnight for ice trays to freeze and take up freezer space. This bad boy makes ice first batch less than ten minutes. Doesn’t keep them frozen in the machine but who cares. Just make what you need switch it off then make some more later. Best thing I’ve purchased in a long time. Nice compact appliance that does what we want it to do
It does what it should do and will provide an ice bucket of ice in approx 1 hour, the details provided by the manufacturer are very brief, it mentions making ice cream but gives no detail at all as to how you could achieve this. The only negative I could relate at this early stage is that I am unable to instruct the machine on the size of cubes produced, they are all the larger size as I cannot get the machine to produce the smaller, not a big problem just a minor irritation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Astonishingly fast but a bit noisy...
After filling it up and powering on it tipped it first small ice in under ten minutes. It's fan makes a noise similar to a small fan heater so if it's a quiet party you might want to power it off once you get the ice hopper full. Otherwise just turn up the music😀Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product
Ive wanted an ice cube maker for ages as we only drink cold drinks with ice in our house all year round. I used to buy 3 bags of ice a week costing £3 a week. The cost of this machine will have paid for itself in a few weeks. I set it off in the morning and fill a plastic box in my freezer for the day. Great product easy to use very quiet to operate too.
