Overall not a bad buy.
As a low cost drill it is quite versatile. The hammer action was surprising good. I haven't used it extensively enough to yet run down a battery. Others have criticised the problems of taking out the batteries for charging. They are near impossible to take out. Its evident that they are a tight fit. A touch of grease improved the situation, but not fully so. Shame you can't recharge the batteries in situ. I bought this model on price and functionality but also because at present spare batteries are available via eBay. Soon after taking delivery I say Lidl had a similar offering, albeit the batteries had to be bought separately. No sure it had the hammer drill capability. But then t does have a 3 year warranty. In hindsight I may have gone for that. One issue is that there appear to be no way of locking the chuck so as to aid its release to take out a drill bit. You have to click it into reverse, hold the chuck and press the trigger. Overall not a bad buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Drill very good, unfortunately batteries and charger not the same attention to quality and fit, one battery unusable due to mis alignment during assembly it won't fit, spare battery fits but very tight in handle, extremely difficult to remove due to bad trimming during production, locking tabs over size and inflexible unable to remove without leverage assistance, charging performance confusing, doesn't perform as per instructions, difficult to know if charging,if charged or battery unusable.poorVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent tool for DIY folks.
OK, this not a tool a professional tradesman would purchase. Is is excellent for an amateur DIY user. It does exactly what it say on the tin. There is only two downsides, the battery is very stiff to remove for charging and charging takes 2hrs or so. That being said you have two batteries, so not really a problem.
