Bought to replace petrol strimmer I have had for 17 years. Does not have the same power and versatility. But I am pleasantly surprised because I was dubious about a cordless strimmer, You definately need the 2 battery model if you have an average sized garden. I have 3 smallish lawns and a grass verge probably about 400m2 in total and I got about three quarters done with one battery . Approx 30 minutes runtime. Also pleasing was the amount of line it used only had to use the auto feed once as I had read some reviews that stated that it was greedy with the strimmer line.Is not quite as sturdy as other Worx stuff I have had in the past. All in all does a decent job. Can,t comment on reliability and battery life but if these are good then it is well worth the money.

I have several Worx tools. They are all very good quality, and I love the battery share system. The strimmer is fine for the most part, but the supplied strimmer cable keeps snapping. On investigation, each time the cord snaps it is getting twisted in the cartridge, jamming, and causing such friction generated heat that the cable end melts to the cable spool. After using pliers to free it, we are off and working again, but only for a few minutes before a repeat performance. Eventually I had to chuck the supplied cartridge and buy a new pack. The new ones seem to be OK, but it was a waste of a cartridge and a tenner or so.

We got one of these about four years back and we liked it so much that we bought the same type again after it died (after a LOT of heavy use). Turned up a couple of days earlier than expected and the price is pretty good, works a treat for cutting grass, edging and trimming thin stalked bushes and shrubs. We use it at the house for grass, help an elderly neighbou with her garden and use it at our allotment and it's great. Just make sure to clean it down after use and it'll last ages.

I needed a lightweight strimmer as my husband's petrol one was too heavy. I can now help him and strim my awkward area of lawn between flower beds. In hindsight slightly more powerful one would of meant I could of helped cut some of the more overgrown areas. But it does a good job. Easy to use. Very happy.. I also have the hedge cutter which I love.

A handy piece of kit for Garden/light work, light and easy to use. Battery life seems quite good so far. Good edging tool when turned as instructed. Pretty frugal with line usage so far, only drawback found would be short spool line length and cost of new spools.
