Not bad, eventually
The burner itself does the job ok. The longer than average length of the unit means that anybody over 5 ft doesn’t have to bend to use it. Being the usual quality of things made in China, only time will tell how long it will last as the quality is not exactly heavy duty. Also, the fittings supplied do not fit a British propane gas bottle. Do yourself a favour and buy a 5 metre length of pipe, a push on connector, 3 small jubilee clips and a regulator to fit a gas bottle. A handy tool for burning weeds if you have a propane cylinder
The burner came with gas hose and 2 female connectors. One fitted the burner but I couldn't see how the other end (a different diameter) could be connected to the gas bottle regulator. This has a corrugated "spigot". I cut the connector off hoping that the internal diameter of the hose was OK. It was and I pushed it on to the spigot and tightened the hose with a jubilee clip. The burner works well and it has fairly got rid of weeds in my gravel paths etc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good flame, lever does nothing.
Large nozzle big flame. Much better than the usual weed burners. I also purchased a regulator for my calor gas bottle but it wasn’t necessary and made the flame too low. The lever doesn’t appear to do anything so I’ve no idea what it’s for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Burn weeds with ease.
I found this weed burner to be simple and easy to use. I just bought Gasmate 3/8 Straight Brass Gas Adaptor from Bunnings Store at A$5.89 and fit it to the 9 kgs. LPG bottle. It took less than 1 min. I believe the 9 kgs. gas bottle will last months. It produces quite a strong flame from LPG.
