A great little tool
It's plug-and-play, which makes it so easy to use. I'm using Windows 7, and it pretty much set itself up. You will need to either get some free router handling software. You can do it from your network devices manager. I used it for turning my LAN at work into a wireless router (My WIFI Router 3.0). It's a nice discreet little bit of kit. I have had to unplug it and restart the programme a couple of times, but that could be the software. Who knows nowadays...

Okay if you have a good signal
In my home, where there is a good Wifi system, it worked quite acceptably but when I tried to use it in a hotel with rather poor Wifi it did not even see the Hotel's connection. It only identified one (different and non-hotel) Wifi signal. When I later tried the same computer there with a modern plug-in Wifi card (with two channels and two aerials) it identified five Wifi signals and worked okay on the hotel's one. So, the dongle works but needs a good signal. On the other hand it cost a fraction of what the card cost.

An amazing product that works well. I purchased mine to replace a single band wi-fi adapter that I was using. The total length of the USB adapter is approximately 29mm (1.25"), but when inserted into a USB port it protrudes by approximately 16mm (0.6"). The accompanying mini-CD contains REALTEK drivers for Windows XP/2000/Vista/7/8, Mac OSX 10.9, and Linux, as well as a PDF User Manual that goes into comprehensive instructions on how to set up connectioni to your wi-fi network.. Excellent little device
I literally made my desktop PC in the bedroom wireless enabled using this little device, in under 2 minutes. Honestly, plugged it into a USB port, Windows7 auto installed the driver, and I popped in my router wireless key & connected. No fuss, no hassle. Yes, the speeds are not that great, but hey, this was less than £4 delivered. I get 35Mbps down & 7 Mbps up, when testing speeds using my laptop from same spot in house as the desktop. The desktop gets 9Mbps down and 6Mbps up using this little dongle, which is certainly good enough to watch Netflix etc, with no issues at all Maybe if you were a gamer, you might just want to look for a faster solution ! Top marks from me, Connected to internet in under 2 minutes flat :)

Good Value
I wanted to replace a W10 laptops integral WiFi temperamental adapter. Just plugged in and select + add password and all OK @ 5.8G - no download of driver or use of CD! 433,5 Mbs signal connection (same as integral one) I cannot be sure how well this will perform with time but looks V, Good so far. Good value for money! Only negative is lack of documentation + dated. User Manual + mini CD + USB WiFi but only other detail provided - postage label with return address. Nothing (I found) in manual about W10 (now close to 2 years old) and suspect the CD driver (install before hardware insert) is not wanted on more modern OS's. "Driver installation from the CD is not required on Windows 8 and Windows 10" quoted by one online store Which was certainly case with me - purposely ignored CD with my W10!

Wireless USB 300Mbps
As soon as I received the wireless adapter, within minutes it was installed into my PC tower (via USB), and it worked flawlessly, windows recognised the adapter and installed the drivers, and I was connected to the internet with out fuss. The adapter itself is smallish ( not tiny) and would be suitable for a laptop if needed, at 300Mbps it may not be the fastest (as 600Mbps are now quite common) but it has been well worth the money, an inexpensive way to go wireless. I would recommend this product to any one thinking of making a purchase for a wireless dongle, neat bit of kit.

Great value for low range use
Easy to use and comes with a driver CD if required. Achieves a useable Internet speed when used with a computer that's about 20ft away from the Router. (Wouldn't be reliable to stream video / download large files) Range isn't great (Though I wouldn't expect it to be at the size/price) and achieves around 3 / 5 bars of wifi signal at a range of 20ft from router For the cost this is a great bit of kit, just be aware of it's limitations.

Easy to install
Great little wifi adapters so good I bought two for my sons who are avid computer gamers before the wifi would drop out quite a bit , my router is downstairs the kids upstairs and so I bought these to replace their old netgear ones to see if it would help connection well I have to say I've heard no moaning from either of them in fact I hardly see them unless I'm passing by the door and then it's only to wipe the cobwebs off them apparently they can now play the league of legends with tiny magical people going round in circles no problem at all so everyone is now happy hooray

useful adapter
This adapter was used to install wifi on an old computer and it worked in second after installing the disc. Very pleased with the connection too, full wifi on BT hotspots (better than the laptop wifi) Easy to install, no fuss, no complicated instructions, speedy delivery and very cheap.
