The kit was very easy to use. I flushed out the black nozzle twice, as per instructions. I used a new black cartridge. After a 'head clean' I found that the nozzle check print came through blank, no black or colours! I had to do a 'head clean' a further three times before printing was satisfactory. Now all colours are fine.

Did not work for me on an Epson 245. 'Absorbent pads' in the kit just look like a couple of sheets of paper kitchen towel. They didn't really slide under my blocked print-head properly because of low clearance, and the 'cleaning kit's' directions to 'Remove print-head if possible' before cleaning was defeating the object of buying a Do It Yourself cleaning kit because I'm not an IT guru adept at stripping down printers and still expecting them to work when put back together. Also the instructions advised downloading a program from the kit suppliers website to make the printer charge ink in the removed ink cartridge, after the cleaning process was over, if I intended to re-use my removed ink cartridge - they actually recommended fitting a brand new ink cartridge each time. Well I'd just bought a new cartridge costing £15 to try, after the black ink packed up on the printer, before I knew I needed the cleaning kit so yeah, I was fitting the existing cartridge back! The 'free' program or app did not exist at the given web address - it said 'Out Of Stock' (?) and the other suggestion to 'Google Search' the app to download from elsewhere resulted in me being asked to pay £8.99! Not on your life... So with the Epson printer having cost me £30 around three years ago, with XL inks for it costing about £70 a full set, and just having spent £6 on a cleaning kit that did nothing and £15 on a black ink cartridge that improved nothing, I dumped the lot and bought a new HP printer for £35. took my printer to a shop charged me £20.00 and said it was not price effective to put a new printhead in. i was going to buy a new printer and saw this product on ebay, so after several attempts the fluid finally dissolved the blocked ports and the printer works great again. no need to buy a new printer should have gone to the shop with a sample of the product.

Did what it said - cleaned the line between the cartridge and print head. However it was not easy to attach the tube that was provided to the printer - needed to use a pair of long nose pliers (not provided) to reach into the ink cartridge socket. Also you need to expect to use quite a lot of ink and it can be messy - take it calm and steady and have somewhere ready to dispose of ink sodden paper towels. Postscript - ended up filling the ink purge chambers on the printer (probably mostly with cleaning fluid!) and as it was over 12 years old have now given up and bought a new printer.

It came very quickly and was well packaged with helpful instructions. It was easy to use but unfortunately , despite 2 attempts it was unsuccessful in unblocking my Epson printer head. It occurs to me that if say 10% of the nozzles are blocked then the fluid is going to take the path of least resistance though the other 90% of clear nozzles. I think that is what happened in my case.
