Does the job OK
Easy to use once you get the hang of it. I have 2 niggles: (1) It fits my blind OK, but if the slats were a different size the cuts would be wrong [don't know if there are different size slats on some blinds]. Worst eBay purchase to date, avoid this item. Only give it 1 star for the good packaging, none for the item.

Inexpensive and does what it says on the tin
This cutter does exactly what it is meant to do, easy to use and gives a good cut every time. I used it on both plastic and aluminium blinds and works well after a couple of hundred cuts. A little trickier for certain sizes of small cuts as the off cuts will need to be removed manually. Brilliant gadget
This little trimming tool is so easy to use. I had to shorten the slats on two blinds that had been mis-measured. There were 72 slats on each blind! I read about this and decided to get it even though there were cheaper ones on the market. Once I had set up the amount I needed to remove, it was a straightforward job to work through the slats. The trimmer was well up for the job. I was surprised that the blade wasn't sharp, therefore it was really safe to use. I was amazed how efficient it was.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a nice little tool for home use, making an awkward job very simple. The tool cuts in increments of 4mm, but that should be fine enough adjustment for most purposes. The blind trimmer is ok but the adjustable part can be very loose so I would advise you check each cut , This makes thing awkward depending on how you decide to cut each louvre.
