Fits perfectly.
The motor/fan assembly fit perfectly. The plastic nut furnished with the kit that secures the light fixture housing to the stud on the motor did not thread far enough onto the stud. I reused the sheet metal wing nut from the original installation. Consider using a rubber washer between the light fixture housing and the base of the motor to reduce noise from vibration.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Frame
The motor and blower is great NUtone quality, but the metal frame is weak and flimsy, and bends easily during install. If I knew this poor quality, I would have saved the old metal frame and just replaced the motor instead of the whole assembly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Direct fit
Direct fit, prevented having to replace entire unit. Unit is set into a tile ceiling so replacing entire unit would have been a lot more work. Looks and sounds like a new exhaust fan. Probably not as quiet as a modern day exhaust fan but it is a replacement fan for a 1962 (year house originally built) exhaust fan/light combo unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A perfect OEM product
This is 100% matching to the original except that in my case the attachment to the bottom of the fan required a little bit of fiddling with the fan attachment screws to give it enough of a screw length to attach the metal vent section.
