I bought this as a carry on travel bag, and I imagine it will serve me well. (Haven't used it yet!) The bag is sturdy, well made, and zips securely. My laptop fits inside with no problem, with room for additional items. Not a lot of interior pockets or dividers but that's fine with me. I wasn't sure I'd like the color but I do. It's fairly neutral, a kind of taupe with cool lilac/ gray undertones. It seems like a simple, practical design that will be a classic. Given the sturdiness of the leather and the size of the bag, it's a bit heavy (compared to nylon totes), but I expected that from the product description and don't consider it a problem. The size is good for me because I'm tall, but I think a small woman would find it overwhelming. It really is "extra large."
