Perfect for entry doors without a deadbolt lock
Great price as it was 25% less than Home Depot! Good, easy to install extra security for any entry door in your home that only has 1 handle lock and no deadbolt. Installation is 4 screws. This is not home security but more of a deterrent. If someone wants to get in your home, very little out there will stop them. That’s just the cold hard truth. If your entry doors at home just have a handle lock and a deadbolt, this is an easy lock to install with 4 screws instead of having to cut a hole in your door and jamb to install a deadbolt lock. Reinforcement door lock functions nice
The product seems secure, but I haven't tried to kick the door in. I've installed about ten of the defender security door reinforcement Lock. I had to notch out the molding on each one I installed.
