    Brilliant way to save your laptop hardrive

    Never knew about these cases, then saw an advert. Really easy to use just take the hard rive from your old laptop place it into the case and use the supplied USB connector to plug into your new laptop. The case is an excellent fit and feels well made all in all its a 10 from me, also the seller supplied it extremely quickly!!!

    Cable could be better quality

    Very easy slide off lid to get insert drive. Extra optional foam enclosed to prevent rattling. USB 3 cable a bit short and not particularly solid looking. I suspect the shortness of the cable is partly to do with that thin a cable would collect interference at longer distances. Still, it is UASP chip and OS adopts faster driver automatically.

    Not perfect but worth it.

    Positive: Works well as intended and I can see what size of drive is in the case. Negative: The lid at the circuit end is flexible enough to be easily pushed inward with light pressure releasing it so it can slide open. That can be stopped with a narrow strip of transparent adhesive tape down one or both side joints.

    The easiest caddy to use

    So easy to use. Slide the lid off, slide the 2.5 HDD into the SATA port, slide the lid back on. Plug the USB lead in and off you go. It is that simple. They do the next size up for 3.5 HDD as well. The 3.5 size come with the USB lead and a power supply and an on/off switch.

    excellent bit of kit

    I liked it so much I bought 2 more (and plan to buy a few spares) the drives fit really well so you don't get that annoying rattle you can get from some of the cheaper ones and they work great with everything I've tried so far (even work with my huawei tablet)

    Brilliant idea

    Sliding cover and clear plastic case make this a brilliant HDD/SSD enclosure. Very easy to swap drives and you can see at a glance which one is in there. Normally I don't do these reviews, but this is just such a great idea. Highly recommended - why didn't somebody think of this years ago?

    Excellent product. SSD speed 300-360mb/s. I'm very positively surprised. I also like the transparency. Very firm build, looking nice. I'm 100% happy and will buy 3 more to replace my 6 years old Natec RHINO PRO enclosures. One minor thing - SSD is a bit thinner than HDD 2.5" so there is a bit of space inside and your SSD may go up and down a bit, so I folded the manual which came in the box into 4 and I put it inside, looks great. See photo.

    Easy to fit the drive (it's a screwless case) It just works, can't say much more really It does get a little warmer than the aluminium cases, but it's only slightly warm. Looks cool though and you can read what drive you fitted without removing it.
