Makes Use Of Alarm Much Less of An Issue
The wireless key takes the bag of groceries out of your arms and saves you a trip to the alarm panel to deactivate the alarm before going back to the car to start carrying stuff into the house. It takes the rush out of reaching the panel once the entry door is opened. It allows you to arm or disarm the alarm from a decent distance (100ft) from the control panel. We have alarms on all our properties and the use of these wireless keys makes it easy to deal with the inconveniences of alarm use. They are good quality. Simple to operate. The battery lasts a couple of years and is easy to change when it fails. If you have a monitoring company, they will charge a service call to program these into the system. You can usually have a few depending on how many zones you have used on your alarm already. Reasonable priced online but not nearly as reasonable from your alarm company. Easy Peasy!
My wife broke the retainer ring on her ADT key fob. I bought this because it looked to be exactly the same as the one she broke. It it! All I had to do was take apart the two fobs and move the electronics a & batteries into the new plastic case. It fit perfectly and works perfectly.
