Surprisingly great sound!
I ordered these headphones mainly for when I'm using my rowing machine and watching TV/Netflix. I found that the 'in-ear' type would often fall out and I don't like the idea of having a sound source so close to the ear for any length of time. These BT1000 headphones had good reviews so I thought they would suit my needs at a budget price - I wasn't expecting great performance. However, I was surprised by their sound quality and will happily use them when listening to music. They have a good balance and rich bass. They are comfortable to wear for the duration of my rowing (40-45 minutes) and stay in place without being too tight on the ears or across the head. Yes, they do get warm in use (but so do I!) but for general relaxed listening, this would not be an issue. For the price, I am delighted by the quality of the material and the sound quality must equal that of headphones costing much more. Excellent value for money and very loud.
I bought these as I needed a cheap pair of headphones for my laptop. I wasn’t expecting much and didn’t even bother to read reviews. I was lucky! These headphones may not be to everyone’s taste style wise. Personally I think they look a bit garish with the gold, however, my wife finds them classy and oozing quality. The jack is to the side and seems to be well made, so hopefully it won’t start playing out of one ear any time soon. The cord is about a foot longer than regular headphones. Perhaps 1.5m compared to 1.2m. For me this is great! Also, the cord itself is anti-tangle and corded. Seems to be of good quality. I have read reviews since purchase and noticed that some were saying that the headband wasn’t adjustable. This is not the case; they are fully adjustable. I have a large head and my wife has a small head, plus I have a 9 and an 11 year old and they fitted us all perfectly. I found them to be very light and comfortable. The headband and ear cups are very soft. I have worn them for over 6 hours at a time and found them to be just as good as any on the ear headphones I have ever worn. All the above is great, but where these excel is certainly in the sound quality. They sound like they should cost well over £100. I’m no expert, just an armchair reviewer, but I will try my best. Firstly, they are incredibly loud! Crank up the volume and these things effortlessly handle drum and bass without sounding painful. The bass is rich, vocals warm and the highs don’t pierce your brain. I tried a bit of Simon and Garfunkel and they were beautiful. I have played them on my laptop, kindle fire, iPhone and Android work phone. I have played an eclectic range of music and these have handled everything right up to max volume without distortion. I love bass driven music and the bass is perfect for me, but can be increased with an equaliser to sound like Beats, but for a fraction of the cost! I cannot recommend these enough. If you get a good price, you will not be disappointed. They have saved me quite a lot of money too, as I was about to invest in a headphone amplifier and now I’m not going to bother.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Comfortable with the sound quality you need.

Clean crisp sound.
As stated in the title, these headphones have a clean, crisp sound to them. For the price paid I am very happy...so happy with them I am buying another pair, as I like to have a spare. As for the fitting on the ear. Because they have a sturdy sliding metal adjustment I can slightly bend each side to fit as I prefer, which is a plus in my book.
