Brilliant suction and swift cleaning
Finally decided to switch from corded to cordless, our previous go to was a Henry vacuum cleaner. Chose the Shark as I’d seen multiple reviews where this came out on top against competitors. Was more than pleased with this decision. Pros: - Quiet and unobtrusive noise - Surprisingly good suction - Sleek, well thought-out design, all levers and buttons are clearly labelled so you can quickly remove/detach components as needed - Feels much lighter than it actually is when in use - LED lights on the front of the head are super helpful at highlighting missed debris and something I never realised I was missing - Great battery life, enough to clean the whole house - Excellent manoeuvrability - Ships with plenty of attachments - Overall great value for money in my opinion Cons - Emptying is, I’ve found, quite messy. Perhaps I’m not doing it correctly but the dust bin is opened by pushing a lever that you then have to grip to pull out a downward facing gate, it’s a bit of an awkward process however again it’s possible I’m doing it incorrectly, this is only a minor inconvenience - if you have pets this is a definite no! Although it performs very well on carpets, when there’s hair in the equation, the brush head will very quickly clog up forcing you to get on your knees and snip the stuck hairs off using scissors. I would strongly advise against this product if you’re going to have a lot of long hairs lying about. In all honesty I prefer to use the hardwood setting on carpets too just to avoid the clogging, it still works very effectively.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

best upright cordless vaccuum
I had the vax blade before I bought the Shark duo, the Shark wins on all catergories, easy to move from one use to the next, no breaking your arm trying to remove the dust box, no dirty hands having to take the filter out to empty, just press a button and it all falls out, excellent edging along the skirting boards/carpets. Happy cleaning
I love it !!!!!! I wanted one for a while , but because of the price couldn’t afford a new one. The one I got was second hand but in great condition there was a bit of plastic broken off the on/off button but I glued that back on , but the cleaner was spotless .Its so easy to use & having a dog at home I can definitely notice the difference. Brilliant- if you think you can’t get excited by a vacuum cleaner you need to get one of these!!

This Shark is by far the best vacuum we have had.
Excellent build quality. Simple lift away to tackle stairs easily. Superb suction and cleaning on both carpet and hard floors. The only small negative would be the relatively small waste bin, which fills up after cleaning 2 rooms. However is this because it picks everything up that lesser vacuums might leave behind. Exceeded my expectations
I bought this item as we have a long haired dog who sheds terribly and trying to get if off the rug was a mammoth task, thankfully we only have one rug, the rest of our floors are marble. It used to take me up to an hour to get the rug clean as my health is not brilliant and I had to keep resting, but with the shark I can do it in one go and it only takes a few minutes.
