For the price, it's awesome! Google Play Store no longer has its app, though, but it's online.
I bought this to gift to my mechanic, and he loved it. The best part is the Bluetooth connectivity. You can control every aspect of the unit from outside the car with your smartphone, so you don't have to expose your ears to high volumes when tweaking and testing your equipment. It's way easier and faster than going through the menu. Even the screen colors can be changed to all sorts of hue variations using the app, and it looks really nice. I like pretty lights, so that feature excited me as if I was a kid. The EQ sounds very good. Audio quality in general is not amazing, but it's way above average, enough to enjoy your music. For $70, it's an awesome unit. We didn't dream of this 20 years ago. If you need the Kenwood Remote App, which is different from the newer Kenwood Remote S App that is not compatible with this unit, you can search for "kenwood remote app apk" and click on the first result from APKPure dot com. This item is amazing, I love the bluetooth feature and that the unit displays the names and artist of the songs not just from my library but from you tube as well now all I have to do is turn on my bluetooth and I'm set I can easily navigate my songs through my phone using the remote or the headunit. I was suprised when unboxing it that it didnt have a CD player but I never use cd's anyway. I really like the wide range of colors it can display and different shades of different colors is very cool. After purchasing a simply module I can even use my steering wheel controls. Great sound for little money
First off, I'm a Kenwood fan. I just needed a cheap unit to replace the 20 year old unit in my car. I don't listen to CDs anymore. This little stereo is quite impressive. Better then expected
I run kenwood in all my vehicles, this deck has put my others to shame. Can hook 2 devices through bluetooth at the same time. Was very easy to set up. Has way more setting then I thought it would for $72 unit. Well worth every penny spent. Highly recommend and I will buy a few more.
