Bluegrass bb bluegrass
The Bluegrass banjo was a gift for my husband,he plays various stringed instruments,but this was his first banjo.Although it needed tuning (if you haven't got a tuner,buy one to go with it)He thinks it's fantastic,but he was worried I'd paid to much(He doesn't know how realistically priced this was)It's a great looking,great sounding banjo,and is ideal for a beginner or someone with experience.I would recommend this banjo(my husband is hard to please)and he thinks it's amazing

Good for first instrument.
I'm making it into a tenor banjo for my granddaughter to learn on, so it will do for a while. The plastic, or nylon, strings are not very good, but the sound is good with metal strings, but a little difficult to keep them in tune. Strumming chords is close enough, and if she likes it, I'll get her a proper banjo in due course, if not, I haven't lost a pile of money. And I enjoy fiddling with instruments to get a sound I like, so it has fulfilled 2 jobs!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great value & LOUD.
Fabulous value for such a well made instrument. Very loud if you remove the back plate. I teach uke to a group of U3A players & this little fella helps me cut through. The only drawback for beginners is there are no instructions for setting up the uke, which you might need. Good beginners instument

Small in size. Big in sound
