Big but very effective
It's big compared to some other much cheaper (trasparent/foam) filters on offer. This one is very easy to set up and runs quietly and effectively. Make sure you need such a large one. I'd recommend it for ease and robustness.

approximately half the price of leading brand filters of a similar size, it comes with 4 different types of media included, easy to set up (just prime and go pretty much) and it cleared the water in a 3 foot x 15 inch musk turtle setup in around 24 hours, overall, very happy with my purchase

Hidom 1200 external filter.
