This product actually works.
This product works great , I have bought 7 of these and I can highly recommend this. It’s fixed leaks in gearbox seals and steering racks. I also put it into older cars as a preventative measure against leaks developing. It’s good stuff, also the bottle is small so it does not interfere with the grade of oil being used. DO NOT USE IN POWER STEERING
I had a leak on my Ford focus power steering rack and I put in a small qty of this to see if it would help. As it turned out the leak was from a screw joint and not a seal, so this could not help, the joint was resealed and all was well u till 2 weeks later when the rack started losing fluid from both ends, it had destroyed the oil seals. Now in fairness to the product it does not say it can be used in power steering, but I thought its only oil and oil seals so what germ can it do? As it turns out quite a LOT??? . Anyway I have now spent £200 on a replacement rack. SO BE WARNED. I think they should state on the package not suitable for power steering to stop others making the same mistake as me..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

super product that actually worked
Well not holding out a lot of hope for this but reading the reviews I thought it was worth a try. Had a Peugeot with bad smoking issues, and a smallish leak. Having read someone else saying it had cured a valve stem oilseal problem I guessed my problem was the same. So a 50ml bottle arrived, stuck it into the engine and truthfully within 10 minutes there was a marked difference. Within 50 miles considerable difference and by 300 miles the smoking issue was virtually gone. Leak vanished too. Now how long it lasts I dont know, i sold the car shortly after, but after sitting in very heavy hot easter traffic, I was only left with occasional small puff of hazy smoke compared to huge clouds of the stuff. This product actually works
This was a last ditched attempt to try and fix my mk4 golf 1.9tdi turbo leak, would need a replacement turbo as the seals were badly leaking all over the place. Bought this product to try and resolve or at least slow down to leak. To my belief it did take around 500miles for it kick in but it now barely leaks and have not needed to top up any oil Since!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Delivers to a promise
So I did what others stated in their reviews and driven for a good 300 miles with the k2 oil stop leak before I posted a review. My engine has a blown head gasket as the result the engine misfired and ran poorly. I'am not going to say that this product is a miracle and that it will solve your issue for good but it will certainly allow your engine to sort itself out and will actually stop the leak as I don't see anymore oil drips on the drive and only time will tell if holds or not. disappointed
I bought this a few of weeks ago and changed the oil (as recommended) and added this. It states each bottle is for 5 litres of treatment but you can double up treatment without a problem. My vehicle takes 6 litres, so i doubled treatment. Two weeks later, unfortunately, still got leak, it was only a small drip before, its still the same. Gutted!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says on the bottle

not as good as I was expecting
I used 2 bottles to treat 5.5L of oil, rather than the recommended 1 bottle, but unfortunately it hasn't stopped my small valve cover gasket leak, it's slowed it up, but it hasn't eradicated it, even after 750 miles of use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
