Takes the guesswork out of supporting items to be cut.
I bought one to see how good it was (or not) in use. Then I bought a second one, as it became obvious that it was really a necessary purchase and I should have had these years ago. Now using my cut off saw is very easy to do and much safer, especially with lengths of timber or metal more than a few feet long. It makes it much safer to cut stock, to avoid off cuts falling down onto the bench, possibly jamming the blade while it is still turning. It also makes it easy to support longer lengths that are cut off, so making the work site much safer all round. I highly recommend this support item, plus it is of a very good quality of manufacture itself, so no need to worry about how long it will last in use. Highly recommended for any workshop or on site.
