It works but slow burner.
It was a bit back breaking and seemed to be taking forever to do one weed which had a root thst just dodt want to burn through and this was dandelion root nothing more. It eventually dud go but took too long for me for this being an electrical product. I purchased a weedburner (of different make) last September and had considerable use of it until the motor burned out at the beginning of this month. As this left me without a weedburner at the height of the weed season, I decided to purchase two to replace it. I unpacked both on Tuesday and (successfully) tested both to ensure they were working then proceeded to use them on Wednesday. In view of my previous experience, I decided not only to use the burners for short periods of ten minutes only but also to rotate their use. Sadly, this proved to be a fruitless precaution as one of the machines burned out within two minutes of the second spell of use. I have not used the other burner since but, hopefully, it will last a little longer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

great value and light to use
Versatile and nice and light to use. The ONLY drawback is that the weeds aren't killed completely and therefore you have to continue treating the area. Lightweight but useless
It burned the weeds eventually but they still returned after a couple of months so obviously the roots weren’t touched. Waste of money as I still had to get on my hands and knees to dig some of the weeds and moss out and as I’m a pensioner this wasn’t easy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Why keep weeding all the time, get one of these and its job done for good

Rubbish. Breaks after a few uses.
